18 Miles Strong

This morning was my 18 mile taper run, the first reduced long distance run before the race. Next weekend, we dial it back down to 14! I tagged along with a nice group of runners to enjoy a cool, misty morning. Now, I’m onto Christmas cooking, a little chicken noodle soup for lunch, followed by The Santa Clause movie night with friends and neighbors.

  1. Merry Christmas! So impressed with you being able to run a marathon. It will be 2 years in March since my tg. Unfortunately I am still losing weight so only exercise for me now is walking and yoga. You are an inspiration!

    • Thank you Julie!! My brother is still fighting hard to maintain his weight as well. Yoga and walking are both awesome. I’m looking forward to more yoga once my marathon is completed.
